A short outline is enough. Helpful details include:
- Sector and location What the business does and where it operates.
- Approximate turnover A rough figure is fine — we typically look at £1m–£10m.
- Why you are exploring a sale Succession, retirement, or another reason — in your own words.
- Timing Whether you are early in thinking, or aiming for a defined window.
